Taking a Georgian national treasure to Dubai

Continuing our love affair with all things Georgian, Eventica is proud to be taking the jaw-dropping talent that is the Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet to Dubai for three special performances in January 2020. The Sukhishvili ensemble is one of the most famous dance companies in the world, enjoying international acclaim since its foundation in 1944 by dance legends Iliko Sukhishvili and Nino Ramishvili.

Despite having performed in the world’s most famed concert halls and venues – Madison Square Gardens and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, The Royal Albert Hall in London and La Scala in Milan among many others - this will be the first time Sukhishvili has played in the UAE. The venue for performances on 3-4 January will be Dubai Opera, the emirate’s premier cultural venue – a fitting location for Georgia’s most famous cultural export.

Eventica has been learning a lot about Georgia in recent months – and the more we learn, the more we love it.

This month marks a decade of Eventica’s presence in the UAE. It has been a busy 10 years since we first opened our office in Dubai in August 2009, with projects ranging from global investment conferences to beach parties – all organised with Eventica’s trademark creative twists. From our offices in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, we have watched the continued growth and development of the UAE - and we are thrilled to have come along for the ride. With Expo 2020 around the corner to kick off Eventica’s second decade in the UAE we say - here’s to the next 10 years!

Promoting Brand Georgia

Our dive into Georgia just got deeper! Eventica is continuing its love affair with this unique destination in the Caucasus, as we support Georgian wine, food and bespoke travel specialist Georgia Selections with a range of PR and brand development services. Our task is to build a compelling brand presence online, offline and in the international media for Georgia Selections as the number 1 expert for high quality Georgian food, drink and travel experiences.

Georgia Selections aim is to bring the best wine, regional food products and travel opportunities to a wide international audience. This is a project that Eventica is only too happy to be involved with: when a day at the office combines great wine, amazing food and the breathtaking vistas of Georgia, what's not to love?

Important day at Expo2020 Dubai site today with the visit of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Amazing to see the progress so far – this is going to be something to make the entire UAE proud.

Pope Francis’s historic visit to the UAE

Our Abu Dhabi office team were in the centre of the action during Pope Francis’s historic visit to the UAE on 5 February – where he conducted the first ever Papal Mass in the Arabian Peninsula.

We carried out a range of media support activities and coordinated interviews with amongst others UAE Minister of State for Tolerance HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and UAE Environment Minister HE Thani Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi.
