In a unique project to complement the football frenzy that engulfed Russia during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, Eventica hosted a programme of events, presentations and themed parties on a specially customised river cruiser on the Moscow River.

From 21 to 24 June the luxury double decked ‘Footboat' sailed through the heart of the Russian capital, offering guests from all over the world the chance to combine football with a fascinating river cruise: unforgettable views of Moscow's sights through panoramic windows, first-class interior design and state-of the-art big screens.

‘Footboat’ provided a premium venue for each of the countries participating in the tournament to create an eye-catching country promotion: a floating embassy for a hospitality experience with a difference. The event programme reflected the culture, cuisine and spirit of the Confederations Cup nations, creating an original and enlivening way to enjoy all the football action.

Every day famous actors, sportsmen, journalists and public figures gathered together to watch the matches, take part in presentations and roundtables on a wide range of topics – or simply to enjoy the summer vibe of this amazing unique cruise experience.
