On 9 September 2009, on the stunning open air terrace at the Ritz-Carlton Moscow, the crème de la crème of Moscow high society enjoyed an amazing cocktail reception on the occasion of Mr. Sol Kerzner’s first visit to Russia.

Eventica was proud to organise what was, in effect, Mr. Kerzner’s homecoming party: as the child of Russian émigrés, this was a very special event for the worldrenowned businessman, the innovator behind Atlantis hotels and the luxury resorts group, One&Only.

With the spectacular panorama of the illuminated city centre and the Kremlin as a backdrop, Eventica created a magical venue with amazing flower compositions, floating orchids, glowing sea-shells and enormous water installations, uniting the core elements of both the One&Only and Atlantis brands.

Guests were entertained by one of Moscow’s more unusual musical ensembles – the energetic band Zventa Sventana: mixing Russian folk music with funky jazz. ‘The Dancing Mermaid’ performed a unique plastic dance in a huge “aquarium” – a semisphere filled with water.

Amongst the 300 guests and media who attended the event were Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nakhyan from the ruling family of Abu Dhabi; top supermodel Naomi Campbell; Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Russia, Alyona Doletskaya; business tycoon, Oleg Tinkov; music star and businessman Emin Agalarov; Nikolay Uskov, Editor of GQ; and many others from the worlds of art, business, government – and, of course, luxury travel.
