Eventica’s Founder and CEO, Sergei Kolushev has today become a major stakeholder in one of Russia’s oldest and most respected sports media houses, Sov Sport. Publisher of Sovetsky Sportnewspaper and Russia’s biggest-selling weekly football supplement, Sov Sport Football, and with a growing online presence, Sov Sport has a nationwide reach across Russia, and beyond. Following the acquisition, Sergei Kolushev said: “We are welcoming Sovetsky Sport into our portfolio in extremely good shape. A top class team, a sound financial base and solid performance were the key factors in our decision to acquire the title. It is a natural development for Eventica Sport as it establishes new platforms and channels in each of its core international markets”

Eventica Sport’s flagship football industry event, the World Football Forum, will in 2016 highlight the development of football in one of the sport’s most exciting and fast-growing new markets – China. WFF 2016, which takes place in Paris on 7-8 July, will  chart the ‘new geography of football’, with China leading the pack of emerging football powerhouses of the 21st Century.

Paris announced as venue for World Football Forum 2016

IMG_2015-11-05 16:04:35We are excited to announce that Eventica Sport’s annual football industry event, the World Football Forum will take place in Paris on 7-8 July 2016 – at the culmination of the UEFA Euro 2016 Championship, hosted by France. Paris has long been setting the standard in culture, cuisine and fashion, and next summer, the City of Light will also be at the epicentre of the football world as the host city of the Euro 2016 final – the perfect backdrop to the World Football Forum.


Russia 2018: Launching the 1000 day countdown

l_d00p1808-1000x671Once again, Eventica Communications was at the centre of the action as Russia celebrated 1000 Days To Go until kick-off of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™. The excitement building throughout the country now has a focal point – a giant countdown clock on Moscow’s Manezh Square beside the Kremlin walls. Eventica was commissioned by the Russia 2018 Local Organising Committee to create the launch ceremony for the clock in a spectacular live event on 18 September, watched by thousands on Manezh Square and broadcast live to millions across Russia and all over the world.

Eventica Communications will be teaming up with the Russia 2018 Local Organising Committee in September 2015 to arrange a very special gathering of brand design experts, animators and graphic artists who will draw up a set of guidelines to help inspire thousands of designers and budding artists who will be taking part in the open nationwide competition to create the Russia 2018 mascot.

Staged at the magnificent Konstantin Palace on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, the Preliminary Draw was the first opportunity that the Russia 2018 Organising Committee have had to introduce the world to the excitement and thrills in store at the World Cup in less than three years’ time.  

Expo 2015: Communicating Russia’s message to the world in Milan

The Russian Pavilion has already proved to be a popular hit in the first two months of operation, and it has also hosted senior-level official delegations from around the world, including visits by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

AgroForum in Milan: an international platform for Russian agriculture

agro-logoAs part of our business communications programme for the Russian pavilion at Expo 2015 in Milan, Eventica organised and hosted the second annual AgroForum, which took place in the Russian Pavilion on 2-3 June 2015. Chiming perfectly with the theme of the Milan Expo, the AgroForum looked in depth at the agricultural development, commercial agriculture and the wider agricultural industry, and created a highly effective meeting place for leading players in Russian agriculture and international producers.
