  • Incognito pulls guests onto the dance floor
    Leading UK band, Incognito – one of the pioneers of the Jazz Funk scene – will take over the stage after the excitement of Dinner and the Charity Auction at Russian Rhapsody. With their addictive mix of smooth jazz and Latin rhythms, they will be sure to create a lively end to an incredible evening.
  • Leading cellist Borislav Strulev to perform alongside Matsuev
    A name known to the world’s finest concert halls, cellist Borislav Strulev has confirmed his participation in Russian Rhapsody, where he will play alongside piano virtuoso Denis Matsuev. His charismatic personality, a virtuosic technique and extraordinarily large and beautiful tone have combined with the mature sensitivity of his interpretations to ensure his place amongst the most exciting young instrumentalists to emerge from Russia in recent years. Mr. Strulev has performed with Denis Matsuev several times before, notably in July 2005 at the opening of 27th International Film Festival in Moscow, by the personal invitation of Russian Rhapsody regular, Nikita Mikhalkov.
  • The Zoe Rahman Sextet warms guests up for the Charity Auction
    Russian Rhapsody guests will be entertained at dinner by the fabulous Zoe Rahman Sextet. Taking the stage at dinner, before the incredible auction sale of ‘haute couture toys’, Zoe Rahman, described in The Observer as "a remarkable pianist by any standard", will lead her sextet of bass drums, clarinet, sax, trumpet and violin with a set combining contemporary and classic jazz.

    With just a month to go before the most sensational and exclusive Russian society event of the Season, some of London’s and Moscow’s most glittering socialites confirm their attendance at Russian Rhapsody, including Jasmine Guinness; Valentino; Lord and Lady Lloyd Webber; Astrid Muños; Stephen Webster; Camilla Al Fayed; Nicky Haslam; Mikhail Prokhorov; Ozwald Boateng; Riccardo Tisci; Alexander Lebedev; Ksenia Sobchak; as well as other top name fashion designers, celebrities from the worlds of art and show business and stars of the business and investment community.   • 6-star Robuchon to tantalise your tastebuds!
    Joel Robuchon, the multi-Michelin-starred chef behind some of the world’s finest restaurants, will add his signature to Russian Rhapsody by creating the menu for the evening, ensuring that the event will be a true feast for the senses – including our guests’ gourmet palates!
  • Prestigious Children’s Choir to serenade guests
    We are delighted that one of Britain’s finest youth choirs, The New London Children’s Choir, will perform for guests at Russian Rhapsody – maintaining the event’s strong choral tradition. The choir performs regularly with all the major London orchestras, national opera companies and at the Proms. Their repertory is very varied, ranging from early music to twentieth century, and the choir has a very special commitment to commissioning new works. We look forward to sampling their skills on 23rd April!
  • Galliano on board
    Just when the sensational line-up for Russian Rhapsody couldn’t get any better….John Galliano, the British dynamo at venerable fashion house Christian Dior, joins the other gods of the haute-couture world at Russian Rhapsody. He will design a beautiful puppet theatre for the auction, held to raise money for our Charity Partner, the Naked Heart Foundation. Russian Rhapsody is now set to be the most sensational fashion event of the year.
  • Karl Lagerfeld joins list of Russian Rhapsody haute couturiers
    The creative genius behind the house of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld is the latest to name to confirm his support of this incredible charity event. Lagerfeld will design and dress a signature-edition Bearbrick Doll – the ultimate children’s accessory – which will be sold at the Russian Rhapsody auction, complete with a certificate of authenticity, signed by Karl himself.
  • Gaultier, Givenchy, Chanel sign up for Russian Rhapsody
    The momentum for Russian Rhapsody increases as Jean-Paul Gaultier, the iconic couturier, whose haute-couture collections have been making news for thirty years, confirms that he will design one of the fabulous auction pieces for Russian Rhapsody. Meanwhile, exclusive fashion houses Givenchy and Chanel also confirm that they will create unique items for the auction, joining Valentino who has already signed up for the event. All proceeds from the sale of the auction pieces – specially designed ‘haute-couture toys’ - at the event will go to the Naked Heart Foundation, Russian Rhapsody’s Charity Partner.
  • Valentino agrees to design for Russian Rhapsody
    One of the key auction lots at Russian Rhapsody’s charity auction, in aid of the Naked Heart Foundation, will be designed by top international fashion designer, Valentino. The iconic designer will add his special creative flair to a traditional children’s rocking horse which will be auctioned to the highest bidder at the event – a unique souvenir of an amazing evening!
  • Christie’s lends its support
    Hugh Edmeades, the highly respected International Auctioneer from leading auction house, Christie’s, will take centre stage at Russian Rhapsody to conduct the charity auction of highly original and stylised playground items. The support of Christie’s – and of Hugh Edmeades himself – will ensure that maximum possible funds can be raised for Natalia Vodianova’s Naked Heart Foundation, Russian Rhapsody’s Charity Partner.
  • Natalia Vodianova wows Paris Fashion Week
    Russian Rhapsody, which will have an ‘haute couture’ theme in 2007, was the talk of the town during Paris Fashion Week, as supermodel and Face of Chanel Natalia Vodianova, the founder of Russian Rhapsody’s Charity Partner the Naked Heart Foundation, discussed plans for the event with some of the world’s leading fashion designers.
  • Piano virtuoso to perform at Russian Rhapsody
    Denis Matsuev, who has been described as one of the world's greatest living pianists, will perform for guests at Russian Rhapsody. The Irkutsk-born star has given concerts throughout the world, and has played with the world's greatest conductors. The West Deutsche Zeitung has commented that "Matsuev possesses phenomonal talents. His playing gives one a basis for believing that a new star has appeared in the firmament of pianists".

    Russian Rhapsody formally teams up with supermodel Natalia Vodianova’s Naked Heart Foundation, a charity which designs and builds playgrounds for Russian children.
