5th Annual British Press Mission
Moscow and Yamal, 27 November - 2 December 2006
Eventica's 5th annual British press mission to Russia once again featured the participation of leading UK journalists, with a programme that included meetings with a number of Russian CEOs and other opinion formers in Moscow.
This year's trip was highlighted by a visit to Gazprom's Urengoy gas field, the second largest in the world (after North Dome-South Pars, Qatar-Iran), where the group travelled to the new Pestsovaya installation just north of the Arctic Circle.
The Moscow segment included an exclusive interview with the Russian Presidential Administration's Deputy Press Secretary, Dmitry Peskov.
An annual roundtable, organised in cooperation with The Moscow Times, included a lively debate on the media's impact on the investment climate.
