Kharlamov Trophy is ice hockey’s most prestigious annual award, hosted by Russia’s oldest sports daily newspaper, Sovetsky Sport since 2002. Among the winners of this award in different years were such outstanding ice hockey players as Sergei Fedorov, Alexander Ovechkin, Pavel Datsyuk, Artemi Panarin, Evgeni Malkin, Ilya Kovalchuk.


In 2016 Eventica staged the Kharlamov Trophy Gala Celebration, completely rebranding the awards and giving it a broad international profile for the first time in its history. The event was dedicated to the seventieth anniversary of Russian hockey. It was held in the Hall of Fame of Russian hockey in the Hockey Museum in Moscow and gathered together Olympic champions, sports and business officials to mark 70 years of this popular sport in Russia. The awards ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko, Russian Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov, International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) President Rene Fasel, Head of the Board of Russian Ice Hockey Federation Arkady Rotenberg, Russian Ice Hockey Federation vice-president Roman Rotenberg, Russian national team head coach Oleg Znarok, Aleksandr Kharlamov and Begonita Kharlamova, Honoured coach of Russia Vladimir Myshkin, Olympic gold medal-winning gymnasts, Svetlana Khorkina and Alexei Nemov and many others.
