Charity Initiatives

We regularly contribute our experience and contacts as event organisers to support a variety of special causes. Our activities over the years have already rasied over $10 million for our chosen charities.

Our latest project, with support from Odnaklassniki online social network, is a special initiative designed to open a whole new world to many of Russia’s most disadvantaged youngsters. Titled ‘Internet v Internat’ - a play on the Russian word for childrens’ homes – this project was launched at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum on 7 June 2008, where it was the only official charity event of this well known conference. The ultimate objective of the ‘Internet v Internat’ programme will be to connect all childrens’ homes in Russia to the internet by 2010.

We organise a range of other charity events – from high profile private social functions such as the Love Ball on Valentine’s Day in Moscow in 2008 (to support Natalia Vodianova’s Naked Heart Foundation), and the Charity Concert for Beslan, conducted by Valery Gergiev and held in the presence of HRH The Prince of Wales at the Coliseum in London, to less formal general public events, such as the England v Russia Charity football match on 12 September 2007, held in support of the Give Life Foundation.

Other annual events, such as the Russian Rhapsody gala dinner, and the Russian 'Old New Year' Gala Dinner, have featured auctions and raffles to benefit selected organisations in need of financial support. Through various events, Eventica has raised £50,000 towards the construction of the Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Chiswick, West London.

In addition, Eventica is the founder of the Russian British Cultural Association, which supports young musicians and performers, and facilitates a range of cultural exchanges.
