One of the world’s leading commentators on the business of sport, Simon has hands on experience in the ‘new geography’ of football in Qatar as member of a government sports think-tank, and Director of Research for Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. Paris announced as venue for World Football Forum 2016

IMG_2015-11-05 16:04:35We are excited to announce that Eventica Sport’s annual football industry event, the World Football Forum will take place in Paris on 7-8 July 2016 – at the culmination of the UEFA Euro 2016 Championship, hosted by France. Paris has long been setting the standard in culture, cuisine and fashion, and next summer, the City of Light will also be at the epicentre of the football world as the host city of the Euro 2016 final – the perfect backdrop to the World Football Forum.


Russia 2018: Launching the 1000 day countdown

l_d00p1808-1000x671Once again, Eventica Communications was at the centre of the action as Russia celebrated 1000 Days To Go until kick-off of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™. The excitement building throughout the country now has a focal point – a giant countdown clock on Moscow’s Manezh Square beside the Kremlin walls. Eventica was commissioned by the Russia 2018 Local Organising Committee to create the launch ceremony for the clock in a spectacular live event on 18 September, watched by thousands on Manezh Square and broadcast live to millions across Russia and all over the world.

Eventica Communications will be teaming up with the Russia 2018 Local Organising Committee in September 2015 to arrange a very special gathering of brand design experts, animators and graphic artists who will draw up a set of guidelines to help inspire thousands of designers and budding artists who will be taking part in the open nationwide competition to create the Russia 2018 mascot.

Presenting Russia at Milan World Expo 2015

Eventica will be bringing its experience of promoting Russia abroad to new levels in 2015 as part of the official organising team of the Russian national pavilion at the 6-month long World Expo in Milan. Eventica has a wide brief to develop the concept and design of the Russian pavilion at this major international event, to implement a far-reaching PR and strategic communications programme, and also to operate the pavilion during the Milan Expo from May to October 2015 when the event will play host to many millions of visitors from around the world.
